How we can help you
The Employee Wellbeing Company can work with you to help you keep your business safe. The development of a company’s culture usually follows a series of stages.
Part of this will involve the company being forward thinking and investing in its people to retain long-serving and effective, productive staff. People will stay if the growing company develops and builds career paths for them and the management control grows to maintain the momentum. Intrinsic in this process of business evolution is the rational approach to health and safety risk management.
We can provide health and safety risk assessment advice which will ensure your business complies with current legislative requirements. This will facilitate the development of relevant and robust policies and procedures to underpin your management of retained risk.
How we can help you
Using GAP analysis techniques we can visit your business premises and observe work activities to identify relevant legal requirements focusing on health and safety policy, occupational health, safety, risk assessments and training.
A GAP analysis helps you to answer 2 key questions: “Where are we?” and “Where do we want to be?” and will take account of all areas of occupational health management and include identification, prevention or control of exposure to biological, physical, chemical, psychological and ergonomic stressors.
The aim will be to ensure the performance of your management system can be monitored and any identified preventive measures or corrective actions be considered and implemented using appropriate systems or processes.
The GAP analysis will focus on the key performance indicators (or KPI’s) for the system and measure baseline health criteria, review data collection methods and review feedback mechanisms.
Through the GAP analysis, the rehabilitation process can be investigated to ensure that employees identified as suffering with ill health either caused or made worse by work are successfully rehabilitated. This process will help provide you with insight into areas which could be improved or changed to meet business need.
Ask yourself the following:
- Does your current service match your requirements, both legal and desirable?
- What are your requirements?
- How do your stakeholders view your service?
